 Identify a need for information and communications technology (ICT) skills instruction with a teacher's or team/department's unit of study- Meet once face-to-face
- Discuss content of unit
- Explain how wikis work (or use this 4 minute video--permission pending)
- Discuss a timeline
- Determine teaching and grading responsibilities
- Design wiki and assign permissions to teachers who are collaborators
- Insert initial content
- Finalize content, add graphics, files, and media
- Introduce unit to students, teach needed skills
- Students complete assignment with help as needed, including self and group evaluation
- Teacher and library media specialist assess student results
- Discuss what did and did not work, making adjustments on wiki and rubrics for further use
